SO WEIRD TO BE BACK

I've been missing from this blog for approximately months and a sudden wave of nostalgia hits me as i sit and type this out on my new Mac. Yes, buying a new laptop brings back memories of daily blogging. Also, i am flabbergasted that after all this time, i still have readers coming back to this rusty blog.

So I'm at a new phrase in my life now and the months that i've been away, i've been learning and growing so much. Being in a new work environment and in one that interests me so immensely has been very enriching to say the least. And going alongside are the new friends, new bosses and new work culture that has been an eye opening experience. I'm thankful that at this stage, i still have such opportunities that are presented to me.

Tim and i are still very much in love, thank you for asking and very happy together. We've both been in the corporate world for quite some time now so unfortunately, we are bogged down by seemingly exhaustion and sheer tiredness every single day such that a simple thing like dinner after work seems such a mountainous task. Especially with Tim ending late everyday, we no longer enjoy the luxury of time to plan themed dates and go on endless photo journeys (for which i am forever grateful to my ever sporting boyfriend).

We are not perfect but i love that we try. Despite how tough it gets and how tired we are, we try and we accommodate and every time, it never fails to amaze me how easy life is with him and how easy it is to be myself around him. 

We've had some highs and lows during the course of 2014 and even though the year is coming close to an end, it was a year well spent with him. 

And the dog is still cute. 

I'll be back you guys. For real this time.

EYELASH EXTENSIONS AT BEAUTY RECIPE

Some time back, i posted this post  about having found a great place that did my nails and how i was so in love with them. 

Today, i'm back to rave about them once more!

This time, aside from their manicure pedicure services, i was kindly invited by Jessie to try their human hair eyelash extension! They are currently the only eyelash distributor in Singapore who offer such services and each of these sterilised and curled human hair eyelashes are specially imported from South Korea (one of the leading countries in beauty)

As you can see from the images above, my lashes are practically non-existent. I've also never liked applying mascara as i felt that it was a hassle to remove and some made my lashes clumpy and ugly looking. As a result, i've always resorted my lashes to it's au naturel state or apply falsies for big occasions.

 Hence when Jessie offered me a chance to achieve big and beautiful eyes, i jumped a little in my seat, did a happy dance and said yes!

After-Rave: My eyes are so gorgeous and i've gotten lots of friends commenting that my eyelashes look really natural and amazing. Make-up in the morning now is also really minimal as i mostly leave my eyes looking as great as it is.

GIRLFRIEND POINTS

So i made Tim a homemade breakfast with pancakes, sausage and scrambled eggs on a Saturday morning when i could have been sleeping. But it was all so worth it when his face lights up, he hugs me and says "Thank you baby". 

Oh and that smile that can just about make my day and all his silly antics.

So crazy about this boy.

ONCE STRANGERS, NOW FRIENDS

(we all have that one friend who doesn't look into the camera lens)

3 years since we chanced together during a work event and 3 years since we've been friends.
Funny how fate brings strangers together and turns them into best buddies that we've all come to cherish and need in our lives. 

The youngest in our group turns 20!
